He's not here
Jesus is resurrected to life,
just as He said.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."

He is alive.
Maybe the greatest 3-word sentence ever written: "He's not here."
The angel, whose appearance was like lightning, told Mary that you won't find the dead body of your crucified Lord here. It is not in this rocky tomb. He is alive and you will see him again.
Imagine the joy that must have surged through her body and soul at those words. The faith and hope that she and the other followers had place in Him were not in vain, but instead were validated. He is who He said He was and she would see Him again.
Jesus appeared to His followers and others over the course of the next 40 days and then ascended to Heaven.
